Announcing Munch Upon a Time, a market celebrating the creativity, quality and fortitude of our amazing local food and beverage scene. Focused on small, local brands, the event will give the public an opportunity to sample lots of tasty edibles and drinkables and purchase their favorite packaged goods on the spot! Time for a foodies paradise to munch gleefully through the bounty that is the Pacific Northwest food scene. Presented by Greater Goods & Microjoy.

Vendor Requirements
• Must be a food or beverage brand that can be sampled out to the public
• Have packaged goods that can be sold on site
• Be able and willing to assist in marketing by sharing provided graphics (and some printed matter if desired) with your followers and customers
• Provide your own table, marketing and set up for the event space
Details
Location: The General Industery Building at 100 NE Farragut. A former potato chip factory, the space is indoors with high ceilings and an impresssively long hallway as the venue.
Date: Saturday, May 20, 2023
Event time: 11am – 5pm
Load in time: 9am-10:30am, load out at 5-6pm
Vendor Fee: $75
Booth size: 8' wide x 5' deep

Giveaway
We are also planning a giveaway that will occur after the event via email signup. Attendees to the event will be given the opportunity to provide their email address at the door as entry into the giveaway. Any vendor that wants to participate will commit to donate at least $20 worth of goods per brand to be a part of the giveaway, which will be chosen at random after the event. Emails gathered from the giveaway will be shared with all participating brands. Participating brands will be featured as part of the giveaway on site as well. A sign up form will be provided when you apply.

Vendor Agreement - PLEASE READ
This Vendor Agreement is entered into by you, the vendor, and Greater Goods (the promoter of this event) and sets out the terms and conditions governing your participation in Munch Upon A Time. By participating as a vendor at this event, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms set out below.
Application & Payment:
Vendors will be required to apply for participation in this event. Space is limited and Greater Goods reserves the right to accept or reject any Vendor in its sole discretion. When and if Vendor’s Application is accepted, Vendor will be notified via email.
Services:
Once accepted, Vendor will be assigned a designated table or spot. You are responsible for bringing a table, fixtures and decoration to define your space. No additional electricity will be provided.
Term:
This Agreement commences upon your completion of the Application to be a vendor at Munch Upon A Time.
Liability:
Greater Goods LLC and General Assembly LLC are not liable for any auto-liability or auto damage by or from the vendor. Greater Goods LLC and General Assembly LLC shall not be responsible for any loss or damage incurred by Vendor, including, without limitation, damage to Vendor’s property, loss of sales, or injury to or death of Vendor (or its agents, employees, and/or personnel). Greater Goods LLC's and General Assembly LLC's maximum liability arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall not exceed, in the aggregate, the amounts paid to it by Vendor, and in no event shall Greater Goods LLC and General Assembly LLC be liable for any consequential, incidental, indirect, punitive or special damages regardless of the cause of such damages. Vendor expressly assumes all risks of loss, damage, liability, injury, or destruction resulting from any cause whatsoever, including but not limited to acts or omissions by Vendor, and hereby releases and waives any claims against Greater Goods LLC and General Assembly LLC related to such loss, damage, liability, injury, and/or destruction. Vendor covenants that it shall be fully responsible for any damages resulting from its participation in any Event, and agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold Greater Goods LLC and General Assembly LLC (and its
officers, employees, agents, vendors, affiliates, and representatives) harmless against any claims arising out of or related to Vendor’s participation in this event, including for claims arising out of Vendor’s negligent actions or omissions.
Insurance:
Vendor represents that it has, or will have at the time of the event, appropriate insurance to cover liability for the types of activities Vendor will conduct at the vvent including auto-liability insurance. We are not responsible for lost/stolen/damaged products and we or the event space are not
liable for auto insurance on the premises, so we always recommend getting event insurance for liability.
Representations and Warranties:
Greater Goods LLC make no representation, guarantee, or warranty with respect to any event. All warranties, express or implied, are hereby disclaimed, including, without limitation, the warranties of marketability and fitness for a particular purpose. Greater Goods LLC does not guarantee any level of attendance at the event and there will be no refund to Vendors, under any circumstances. The vendor list, map, and spot assignments are subject to
change without notice.
Assignment:
Vendor may not assign this Agreement to any third party, or delegate any of its obligations without the written consent of Greater Goods. Only the accepted Vendors will be allowed to sell or distribute their goods or services, and/or conduct activities at the Event.
Code of Conduct:
You agree to read and abide by all directives, regulations, and event rules provided to you, including those sent via email to the email address provided on your Application. Greater Goods reserves the right to decline, prohibit, or expel any Vendor exhibit, or prevent any activity, displays, product, or conduct, which (in Greater Goods’s sole judgment) is out of keeping with the character of the event or endangers the venue, any attendee, or other vendors.
Vendor and its agents, employees, personnel, and/or independent contractors who participate in the event agree to be bound by this Agreement and shall comply with its terms and all Event rules, regulations, and directives as may expressed to Vendor by Greater Goods in any way at any time. The terms of this Agreement, including any limitations and waivers, insures to the benefit of Greater Goods and its affiliates.
Miscellaneous:
The relationship of Vendor to Greater Goods is that of an independent contractor, and nothing contained in this Agreement will be construed as creating a partnership, joint venture, employment relationship, agency, or other relationship between the parties, or to make Greater Goods liable for the debts or obligations of Vendor.
The validity, interpretation, construction, and enforcement of this Agreement will be governed and controlled by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its choice of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to this Agreement must be brought in federal or state court in Multnomah County and the parties hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and the venue of such forum. The prevailing party in any such action shall be entitled to receive from the other its costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys fees) in addition to any other relief it may be entitled to.
This Agreement, any event rules and regulations provided to Vendor by Greater Goods, its affiliates, and the Application completed by Vendor constitute the entire Agreement and understanding between the parties hereto with respect to Vendor’s participation in the event.
If any term herein is determined to be unlawful or unenforceable then that term will be severed and the remainder of the Agreement will remain in force.
No amendment or revision to this Agreement shall be effective unless agreed to in writing by Greater Goods.
This Agreement is non-exclusive and Greater Goods reserves the right to contract with other vendors for the event.
Any delay or failure by Greater Goods to exercise any right or power under this Agreement shall not be construed to be a waiver of said right
or power or any other right or power under this Agreement.
When you enter this event, you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. By entering the event premises, you
consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and
its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by Greater Goods and its affiliates and representatives. By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, web casting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such use, exhibiting, broadcasting, web casting, or other
publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is
charged.
COVID-19 Disclaimer
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID–19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID–19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. By participating in this event, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure of COVID–19. You further acknowledge that Greater Goods can not guarantee that you will not become infected with COVID-19. You understand that the risk of becoming exposed to and/or infected by COVID-19 may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of yourself and others, including, but not limited to, Greater Goods staff, Greater Goods vendors, and Greater Goods attendees.
Can I apply if I serve alcohol?
Yes, however we are limited the number of alcohol vendors to allow for a predominantly food and NA beverage focused event. Apply early!
Are CBD vendors permitted?
Yes! We are seeking to curate the event to include all types of food and beverage, but if you are chosen to vend, please be careful not to serve to anyone under 21 years of age.
Can I share a booth?
Yes, however both brands must apply and be accepted.
Can I serve hot food?
For the safety of our attendees, no hot or prepared food will be permitted in the vendor booths.
Can I bring my own music?
As a courtesy to the other vendors, we ask that no music be generated at your individual booth space.
What is your cancellation policy?
There are no refunds for vendor cancellations at any time for any reason.
If a cancellation of the event by Greater Goods is necessary due to unforeseen circumstances, acts of a third party, or other circumstances which (in Greater Goods’s sole judgment) may compromise the safety of event participants, then the event will attempt to be rescheduled. If a reschedule is not possible or if a vendor's schedule does not permit participation, a full refund will be provided.
How many vendors will be at the event?
We have room for 35-40 vendors (more if booths are shared).
How do you choose the vendors?
Our selection process is meant to be inclusive and represent a wide array of offerings. We are looking for brands who exemplify the local, handmade spirit, offer something exciting, tasty and compliment the entire experience of a tasting event.
What marketing materials will be provided?
We will be providing an array of graphics in a variety of sizes to share on your social media channels, newsletters and wherever you reach our customers. A printed poster will also be created and tacked up around town!
